Hello,
Doohamlet Community Centre helped my family in lots of ways. Since we moved to Doohamlet in Spring 2022, we were accepted as part of the community very fast. Tots and Toys group, which is held every Tuesday during school time, truly changed our lives for better since my son is only child and all our relatives live outside Ireland.
Doohamlet Bluebells Women's Group encouraged me to meet other amazing women and experience brilliant workshops that have been extremely helpful in many ways, from artistic perspective to mental health awareness.
To all who are responsible for creating such a strong community, I am forever grateful.

Doohamlet Community Centre facilities a wide range of community activities. As a member of the Farney Badminton group we practise and play matches weekly in the centre. The centre is very well kept, spotlessly clean, with friendly welcoming community members. Everyone is made feel welcome regardless of what parish you come from. – Ellen Connolly
Oriel School Of Irish Dancing​
As the organizer of an Irish dance class, I am delighted to share our positive experience using Doohamlet Community Centre as our venue.
The facility quality, amenities and accessibility are of excellent standard. The centre provides spacious, clean and well maintained rooms and the use of stage and in house sounds equipment is a huge bonus for the class.
The staff at Doohamlet Community Centre are exceptionally friendly and helpful. They are always on hand to assist with setting up equipment and addressing any concerns we might have. Their professionalism and dedication contribute to the smooth running of our classes.
The centre truly fosters a sense of community, offering a variety of programs and events that bring people together. Our Irish dance class has benefited from the collaborative atmosphere, and we’ve even participated in some of the centre's cultural events, which has been a wonderful way to share our heritage with others.
Overall, Doohamlet Community Centre has provided an outstanding environment for our Irish dance class. We are grateful for their support and look forward to continuing our partnership for many years to come.
